The Power of Positive Habits

People are habitual by nature. We have formed habits that create how we live our lives. We dress a certain way, we think a certain way and go about our daily lives usually doing the same thing over and over again. This is a habit. The question is how is that working for us? Are we stuck in a rut? Are we living our best life? If not why not change the habit?
The definition of a habit is an unconscious inclination to act in a particular way, acquired through frequent repetition over a long period of time.  Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. The key word here is unconscious. We must become conscious of our habits and begin to acquire new habits.
It really isn’t difficult , however it is learning new behaviors or habits.
Take a different route to work, wear something different, think new thoughts, these will create new habits, habits that will support a new you. Over time your life will change. Start eating healthy, exercise, listen to an inspiring piece of music or read a book that will uplift you. These are the habits that will move you forward and create a more fulfilling life.
All habits can be changed if you decide right now to no long settle for less. You can be led by your habit or you can form habits that will lead you to the life of your dream! So what shall it be? Every moment you have the opportunity to step up, out and forward into habits that will support you, go for it, be someone new!!
