Stretch Your Limits
How often do we do the same things day after day. We read the same types of books, eat the same kinds of foods, and just routinely go about our day doing the same things. How about stretching your limits? I recently took out a book from the library that would stretch my limits. It is; The Will to Power, by Friedrich Nietzsche. It is not an easy book to read, however I want to stretch my limits. I like to learn, grow, and stretch my limits. My younger daughter just got in her car and drove from southern California to Washington State, all by herself.
A 24 hour drive, that she accomplished in 2 days. She is renting a house on Orcas Island, alone, to gather her thoughts, since she has been going through some difficult situations. She is stretching her limits. You never know what you are capable of doing, until you step out of your comfort zone, or your routine and do things differently. So maybe take that art class, dance lesson, volunteer, write, or what ever else that will stretch your limits, and see how life opens up new opportunities that you never thought possible. Now, more than ever it is so important to move beyond what we believed to be the only choice for us. There’s so much more waiting for us to be discovered. Just stretch your limits and experience the expansion of that grow. That what life is about. Go for the ultimate frontier!
