Don’t Prove Yourself, Improve Yourself
Sometimes I hear people say they are bored. I know I have heard children say this, and I believe they need guidance, direction, and education to understand that there are many subjects they can get interested in. As parents, teachers, and guides we are here to direct them to their interests. Once they acquire the passion for learning and improving themselves, they will have no need to prove themselves. When you try to prove yourself worthy, you are missing out on improving yourself. You become outwardly directed and begin to compete against yourself. That’s what bullying is. They want to prove themselves rather that improve themselves. The secret is to improve yourself, and grow into all you can be. Everything is inside you waiting to be discovered. Your dreams, passions, gifts, and creative genius, is all inside you. When you begin to become a never, ending learner, you awaken to these miracles. All it takes is a shift in consciousness to see it this way. It is time for all of us to improve ourselves. To teach our children to live together peacefully in this world by focusing on how we can grow, change, and improve ourselves.
